OMD! Mondays!

The Story of Daisy, The "underbite goddess"

Good morning everybody! And Happy Monday to you all...I know I know, your all thinking......yea....Happy Monday indeed!
Mondays are not the happiest day of the week, that's for sure, and that is why I decided to do a beautiful story today about a little dog named Daisy. So please enjoy our OMD! Monday smile :)

Beautiful Daisy, the underbite Goddess!

Daisy the underdog with an underbite was dubbed "underbite goddess" due to her outstanding personality and happy go lucky style.

Although the story was about to take a turn for the worse when Daisy's days became numbered.

Daisy was picked up by animal control 3 YEARS ago! While she was still just a pup.

And of course the usual story, people come...people see her so called "deformity" and people simply keep walking by.

Therefor Daisy's time was up, she was scheduled to be euthanized.

(direct quote from the article)--> "we imagine a lot of folks passed her up, not realizing that a goddess resides in that protruding jawline. It's not always easy to recognize greatness!"

Well put! And great she is!

God was with her that day as her 'fur'ever home found her! Literally rescued within HOURS of her scheduled appointment.

If you would like to read the whole article and see a short video if Daisy in her new home, you can check it out by clicking HERE.

You will note in the video, that in addition to her underbite, Daisy was also born with a disfigured legs which made her hop sort of like a bunny when she ran. To me, and to her new 'fur'ever human, that simply adds to her already goddess like personality!

Thanks for reading, and we hope you enjoyed the story as much as I did for a Monday smile!
As we speak there is a ton of snow falling outside, after having a warm week and our other fluffy white stuff had disappeared almost entirely! So I will have some more great pics and video's to come of Lexus and Mika! So stay tuned and be sure to keep checking back with us!

  8. Nice meet you! I have many tiaras. Being a princess means I have to wear the heavy crown and bear the royal burden... But then, that's what you get when you go from rescue to royalty! My momma is not allowed to look at Lexus and Mika for longer than a second because the woman falls in love too easily. And I am jealous. They are quite beautiful.
