OMD! Mondays!

Hello, and welcome to another OMD! Monday.
We have a special story for you today, I hope you will enjoy ♥

Today's story is about a Pit Bull named Fisher.

Fisher was an "evidence" dog in a dog fighting case in Georgia , so while Fisher remained an evidence dog, he was of course safe from his 'end of days'
But once they had no use for him, it would be a different story.

Fisher had an adorable quirky habbit of sticking his little tongue out of the corner of his mouth, as you can see in this photo of him.

At one point Fisher had a potential rescue in order for him, but things started looking Grimm for the loving 'pittie' once again when the humans backed out of the deal.

He was ordered to be destroyed.

Now I remember reading a lot of Santa Paws letters from my fellow blog dogs and cats that were asking for help from Santa for these rescue shelters and stray dogs/cats and so on......(including my own dogs letters)
Well I am happy to be able to say that for Fisher, our Xmas wish came through because on Christmas eve Forlorn PitBull rescue, did just that.....came to the rescue of our poor 'evidence dog' Fisher.
He now has a bright future ahead of him and we wish him all the best and hope he never loses his quirky little habbit of hangin that tongue out! ♥♥

I hope you enjoyed the story today, Fisher was one of the lucky ones, and we are so happy he has been rescued. But please, any chance you get to help raise awareness to dog fighting and the like, do so, because we can make a difference.

  9. I think they should be required to place those evidence dogs when they are done with them, (provided they are not dangerous). I also think that if they take dogs from people due to cruelty claims, they should have to place them too, (provided again the dog is not dangerous). Glad Fisher found a place.
