Parading close ups

Confessions of my obsessions!

Hi everybody and . . .

Yes! We all love Fridays!

And one of my reasons is because Friday means its time for the Pet Parade blog hop!

Hosted by : Rascal and Rocco Jan's funny farm and Basil The Bionic Cat

So pop by the hosts posts! And feel free to link up with them!

Ok so a slight obsession of mine is taking close up photos of my dogs.
I am not exactly sure why, but I love things like nose shots, or close up of the eyes or anything to that effect.

I think everyone has their own "thing" that they absolutely love to photograph. Mine is up close pet shots.

So today I am going to show you my obsession.

Lovin the bi eyed Mika shot (below)

My all time fav . . . the nose shots!

Close up of Lexi, gazing out the window (below)

Another nose shot (Lexus, below)

Lovin the eyes

This one of Mika is one of the best close up shots of her (below)

Below is one of Lexus when she was sleeping . . . . creepy much?

Koda has his eye on YOU!

So there you have it. My obsession wrapped up in one post!

Do you have certain things you like to photograph best?

If so let us know in the comments below.

  1. Lovely eyes guys :) I also enjoy taking closeups. Only recently did I try my dog's eyes. What's really fun is flowers and plants. I have quite an abundance of those around at my house, so maybe that's why I like taking pictures of them so much.

I especially like a close up of a flower outdoors when there is a drop or two of morning dew on the petals!

  7. We don't like close ups, we put our ears down and lower our heads, Dad has to stay like 87 feet away with the flashie beast. But Bites and Dad do sit and stare at each other to see who gives up first, their nuts!

  8. I haven't tried a lot of close ups, I'm not sure if the dogs will put up with it....they don't cooperate much for photos! But I'd like to try more after seeing all of yours. I love the nose ones the best....there's something about dogs' noses that is just so darn cute.

  10. Yipes! TW was on that kick for awhile after she discovered the Mackerel setting. The Mackerel lens makes the closeups come clearer. Some of those shots look like the closeup dog is photobombing another doggie in the background. Fun shots!
