OMD! Monday/ St.Pats style!

HAPPY ST.PATRICK'S DAY!!

Its here! Its finally here! One of my fav celebrations of the year!

Time to dress in green, sport some shamrocks and see how our wee fur babies look in those green hats, look for that pot 'o' gold at the end of the rainbow, oh aye, it's there, a little wee leprechaun told me once, he did.
Actually I had a bit 'o' the ol' luck ' o' the Irish me-self while I was taking these photo's. Aye, me wee fur ones posed and all, they did!
'Och', don't tell me ya didn't dress up your
fur babies! We all love a good excuse to put
costumes on our pets, we do! Aye, they all
look so darn cute!

I hope ya'll caught my attempt at an Irish accent there, or else you probably think I have officially lost it! BOL

'Och' Mika, wake up! We are in the middle of a
photo shoot!

**Definition for the Irish word "Och" - an expression of surprise or annoyance. **
Och is pronounced 'ock'

Perhaps some of that green beer for the humans of the world!
Here guys, have one on us! Compliments of the pack!!

 *Cheers*

Or for you furry ones out there, have a bowser beer! Just ask your humans to dye it green for you and your all set!
Aye, they even have a beer for pups of the world!
As much as I do love love this holiday, to be honest, we don't do to much to celebrate. It must be the Irish in me that draws me to St.Paddy's Day.

Aye, and the 'ole' Irish accent as well!
Mika's Irish name - Mika 'o' stuckup
Lexus' Irish name - Lexi 'o' dainty
Koda's Irish name - Koda 'o' goofball
Do you have an Irish name today?

How bout you? Do you celebrate? Do you "go green" today?
Click HERE for one of my FAV Irish tunes! The song is called Black velvet band by The Irish Rovers. Enjoy!

Now since it is OMD! Monday, we have a pawsome story for you about a very inspiring little boy from the Philippines.

For a few weeks, a very curious father watched as his son put on his backpack every day and disappeared from his neighborhood.

His father was shocked to find out what his son was doing with his spare time.

As a naturally concerned parent, the boys father decided to tag along with him one day. It was then that he learned that his big hearted son was bringing dog food to stray dogs all around the neighborhood.

The boy had been doing this every day, and even had names for each of the dogs. He explained that it took quite some time to gain the dogs trust. At first he couldn't get closer then 50 ft to the dogs, so he would leave the food and sit and talk to them for a while.
Now, since the boy has been there every day with food, the dogs are learning to trust him, knowing he brings no harm.
I love this photo below as the white pup gives him high fives! You can see the connection and progress this child has been making.

Since seeing what his son has been up to, the father has decided to follow in his sons footsteps. He now assists him in feeding the dogs daily, and is determined to have the dogs skin condition cleaned up and has plans to find these pups each their very own fur-ever home.

On behalf of our pack here at Love is being owned by a husky, we would like to say thank you to this boy for his big heart, and to his father for further assisting his son. We need more people in the world like them.

This boy has a dream to open his own shelter one day and we wish him the very best of luck! Follow your dreams!

Thanks for coming by to share this special story with us, on this special day.

And as a big P.S I am sending a reminder that its a new day for the photo competition, and Lexus needs all the votes she can get!
