We want to let people know this hop is NOT just for our furry kitty furiends!
We welcome all pets! Yep! That means all you dogs, kitties, piggies, bunny's goats, donkeys horses! Whatever you got, parade them!

Today is also day 4 in the #atozchallenge.
D is for Destructive chewers!
Between the three of our huskies, dog toys don't tend to last very long around here! Huskies can be very destructive chewers!!
I know a ton of other breeds are as well!
So for today, I thought we could parade a few of the photos which capture the huskies in the midst of their destruction!
Lexus and her boxes! Brand new toys and she still chooses to take a box put of my hand and chew that instead!
So, do you have destructive chewers? How long do your toys last?
Let me know in your comments below!
Before you go, I just had to share this photo.
No, it is not dog or husky related, but I think it is just priceless!
My 3 year old daughter loves playing doctor. She has the cutest little doctor outfit and of course her little bag full of medical supplies.
My 10 year old daughter punctured her foot the other day when she stepped on something, and my youngest wanted to help me "fix" her foot. So I put some real gauze and tape and spray etc....in her little doctor bag, and we went at it!
I just love this photo of my mini doc!
That concludes our Pawty today, hope you enjoyed and we will see you tomorrow for the letter E.
Also a reminder to sport your orange ribbons the whole month of April for prevention of cruelty to animals. Post your orange ribbons on your blog, Facebook, Instagram, anywhere! And help us raise awareness to this issue!
**Announcement** Melissa at Barking from the Bayou, Sara from Lola the Pittie, and us, love is being owned by a husky are joining Lisa and Sue for their Tuesday Tails blog hop on National Dog Fighting awareness day. Bentley is not very destructive but Pierre is renowned for killing toys. Our Skineeez platypus is surviving in spite of his running and fighting with it. The photo of your daughter is too adorable! What a precious age! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! It is a very precious age for sure!!! I don't want her to grow up anymore though!!! Pierre does look like he is a crazy chewer!! BOL!
DeleteNo destructive chewing here but probably because we never get the chance LOL. We agree the little one is adorable. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
BOL! oh ok, gotcha!!! Thanks and you have a fabulous Friday as well!!
DeleteI don't get the sort of toys that I can destroy in seconds. I tried to destroy the house when I was teething - walls don't taste very nice, but doors aren't bad!
ReplyDeleteOh Clowie! You ate your house?? Your mamma must have been upset with you!!! hehehe!!! Been there!
DeleteFank youz for making my birthday so special. Wez away'z the weekend'z
ReplyDeleteso catch up'z wiff you Monday'z xxxxxx
Load'z of Hug'z
Mollie and Alfie
Your very welcome Mollie! Have a great weekend and see you Monday!
DeleteThat is sweet about your daughter. Neeko loves to chew paper and cardboard boxes as well! I know first hand the destruction that can occur with their chewing habits.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Weird how dogs like to chew cardboard. I think the appeal is getting to shred something and not getting in trouble for it BOL!!!!
DeleteOur pet, Pepper a Dalmatian, was a destructive chewer, no doubt! Somehow he loved my shoes and slippers a lot! :D
ReplyDeleteYour little one is so cute :)
Hope you are having a great time reading, writing and connecting with fellow A to Zers, Jenna:)
Shilpa Garg
Co-Host AJ's wHooligan for the A to Z Challenge 2014
I am having a great time!!! Thanks so much for coming by! I have heard that dalmations can be destructive chewers as well!
DeleteThanks for the compliment on my daughter! She definitely is a cutie!!
That is a lovely photo of your little girl and, wait, a Husky face in the background!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, and over on my blog you asked when the PPP would be…? Well, its already been!!! It started on the 1st like usual. QUICK quick quick, if you want to join! Only a very couple of days to go! There's still time!! Hope to see you linking up with us :)
Lots of Woofs from Earl and I at Earls World!
OMD!!! Earl!!! You were suppose to remind me!!!! haha!!!! Is it open Sunday? I have a blog hop tomorrow, but I can link up Sunday if it is still open then?
DeleteThe PPP is open until the 7th at midnight, so you can join Sunday! Sorry about the reminder, I was so busy posting A-Z, getting ready to compete today, and everything took over. I will BE SURE to remind you next time!! Sorry again! :(
DeletePlease visit http://sumskersandearlskers13.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/a-is-for-april-fools-special-of-pinch.html for April 14 PPP :)
ReplyDeleteZu used to be a destructive chewer when she was younger. She used to pull books off the shelf, drag shoes out of the closet, etc. Now she only chews up pens or chapstick that we leave lying around...and of course her toys. She has so many that she'll rip half of it to pieces and then find a new one to chew on!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Koda chewing on the blue toy, tongue hanging out!
Chap stick!?! hahaha!! Oh no!!!!! Actually Koda has a strange habit of wanting to chew chalk!
DeleteI love that photo to!!!
Happy Pet Parade day! Sorry for causing confusion this week! You're post turned out great! And your pics always make me smile. Is that your daughter? So adorable! Rascal and Rocco
ReplyDeleteThat's ok, we figured it out alright!
DeleteThanks for your kind words.
Yep, that's my daughter! She's a cutie!
Yes! Shiner can destroy just about anything. She has one of those blue West Paw Design Bumi's and another toy from them and they are the only ones she can't destroy. Our Skinneez Platypus is holding up well too. That picture of your daughter is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYea, the west paw does not have any wear and tear on it at all yet!!!!! i am in shock about that!!! Usually when a toy says indestructible, they lie!!! BOL!!!!!
DeleteThank you! She is a cutie for sure!
Hehehehe you should see my castle that I got for christmas hehehe,xx SPeedy
ReplyDeleteBOL!!!!! Destroyed?
DeleteYour mini doc is adorable!
ReplyDeletehaha! Thank you!!! She is!
DeleteDestroying toys? I have never heard of this concept! Once in a while one of my toys accidentally bursts open and needs to be repaired. And occasionally an ear or a nose will...um... fall off and need to be replaced. But destroying? No!
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
hahahaaha!!!! Well that's one way to put it!!!!!!!
DeleteNo real destruction here we just bat things around and put stuff under the furniture a LOT!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Yea u suppose so huh?? BOL!!
DeleteFive minutes tops!!! Mom just bought Ciara and Lightning some new funky toys, furry stuff on the outside and rubber with a squeaker on the inside - very hard!!! Ciara was so determine to find that squeaker, she had the piggy split open in no time. Once she started breaking off small pieces of rubber, it was bye-bye piggy. Mom took it awasy:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Yep, my fellow huskies, I'm sure you know ALL about destructive chewing!!! Haha!!! It sucjs when we have to take toys away from you guys, but its for your own good tho! Can't have you choking or eating small pieces!
DeleteSadie can definitely be a destructive chewer. I've yet to meet a stuffed toy that Sadie can't destroy in under ten minutes. And then Sadie starts to eat the pieces of the toy, which is the bigger problem, so now she can't have stuffed toys anymore.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya there!! Mika is the worst with stuffed toys, especially if they have eyes. She tears out the eye balls first then rips out the stuffing!!! Brutal when you think about it!!!! BOL
DeleteMy three aren't chewers but Diesel loves to chew. Funny thing though, he doesn't chew at his house…just at mine! Guess he just likes to misbehave at grammy's house!
ReplyDeleteBOL!!!! Strange! Because usually when visits to grandma's house happen, that is when kids are on their best behavior!! Hahaha! Not dogs tho I guess!
DeleteMy dog as a child was horribly destructive, but thankfully, neither of my dogs today are chewers. Whew! I can actually give them a stuffed dog toy, and it seems to last for quite some time.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.thingsmymothertaught.com
Wow! That's great then!!!! Thanks for sharing !
DeleteErnie is a chewer. He likes to chew cords and has destroyed a few. The mom has to cover the cords with cord protectors.
ReplyDeleteOh a cord chewer!!! That's super dangerous!!! Good call getting the cord protectors!
DeleteOur golden Sheba is the worst....destroying toys is her favorite thing and we've had toys that didn't even last a day with her! But Cricket and Luke are happy to join in the destructive fun too. We love the West Paw toys because they stand up to Sheba, but she doesn't have as much interest in anything that she knows she can't destroy!
ReplyDeleteOh, a future doctor....that is such a sweet photo.
Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Yea! I know what you mean! They do tend to go for the things they can shred or tear vs the indestructible toys! Smart dogs!!!
DeleteGlad you like my mini doc!!! i would be one happy mamma if she grows up to be a doctor!! hahaha!!!
If you want a rapid toy destroyer/chewer, I'll loan you Marcus. But I'd rather he chewed up his toys than the furniture. :)
ReplyDeleteBOL!! Yea eh? Definitely better to destroy toys then furniture!! I agree!
DeleteOur toys also last 5 minutes or less!! Jakey just had to get the squeaky out of the toy as soon as Mama puts it down!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Haha! My huskies are the same!! Straight for the squeaker!!!
DeleteI think Gambler has a little husky in him as he is a chewer. He has wrecked more things of mine.
ReplyDeleteGambler! You silly pup!!! Maybe he is part husky!!!! Hehehe
DeleteMom Linda says her Sibes never ever chewed anything they were not given. Amazing I know, but true
ReplyDeleteWow! Craziness!!! Haha!
