Sepia Sibe Vibe - Silver Paw

Hiya everyone,
I hope you all had a great week!

Today for our vibe we have the pleasure of doing a product review for Silver Paw Pet Tags.

We have a great post for you today, as we are also joining Ruckus the Eskie for his Sepia Saturday blog hop! This hop is for us to edit some photos, sepia style, and share them with our readers.
Every Saturday on our Sibe Vibe, we like to share a husky fact with you.
Today, since we are reviewing Silver Paw Pet Tags, my fact of the week is :

Siberian huskies are escape artists.

If you are a regular follower of our blog, you will know I have shared a few posts on some unbelievable escapes by our fellow husky friends of the world. Including my own!

That fact brings me to the point of this post.
Pet ID, and how important it really is.

Why is Pet ID important?

Even if you do not let your dog off leash, don't think it is impossible for them to escape.
I have had my huskies literally do a quick twist of their bodies, and escape a well fitting harness. I have had a lead break, and I have had one dart out the door when someone was on their way out.
These things happen. Not just to huskies, but all breeds, and even you kitties out there!

So what happens when your beloved pet escapes, and they don't have ID?
If someone finds your pet, how will they know who he belongs to?

Personalized ID tags, allow you to add your pets name, your home phone number and even your address.
This way, if the worst should happen, and your pet gets away from you, at least if they are found, they can easily be returned to you by simply making a phone call.

Keep in mind that there are a few different ways to ID your pet. Microchips are also a good idea.

That brings us to our review.

Silver Paw creates unique hand crafted stainless steel personalized pet tags.

You can order large, medium and small and there are several different designs to choose from. I chose a heart, paw print, and a bone.
I was definitely impressed with the durability of these tags.
These are made to last!

I don't know about you guys, but the regular tags we have are full of scratches and dents.
These are made to withstand the every day life our pets.

The above photo shows front view (left) and the back side (right)
I fell in love with these as soon as I opened the package!

The heart belongs to Mika, and of course we added our sepia photos to the mix!

The bone belongs to Koda

And the paw print belongs to Lexus

Don't they look PAWsome in their new tags!?
They are rockin them!

As important as it is to have ID for your pets, it is an added bonus when they look this fabulous!

Ok Sibes, what do you think of your new stainless steel tags?

We intend to give you some updates on these tags from Silver Paw as time goes on. We are anxious to see how they last, compared to regular tags, so we will make sure to keep you posted.

You will also notice a Silver Paw ad on my sidebar, we are proud to represent them, while making it easy for you to access their site. Simply click the ad, or any of the links in this post to take you directly to their site and see for yourself what they have to offer.

  7. Those tags are very pretty! Great review. Petal wears the cheapest tags I can find because she has a tendency to lose them and I swear the more expensive they are the faster she loses them, LOL!

  11. We (me and Vaks) have tags with mom and dad's phone number. We also have a micro chip under our skin in our left shoulder. The Vet can scan it, se the number and find out who we are and to whom we belong if we are escaping from home. It is most Vaks I think that might need it. Micro chip in dogs are statutory in Denmark.

  13. Those tags are super pawsome and they look great! The cats will not allow us to put anything around their necks without freaking so...they don't wear collars. Never had them get away so hopefully my luck will continue.

    1. Oh my cats are the same. We had cute little collars on them for a bit, but they just keep taking them off, so honestly, we just left them after now haha!

  14. Those are so beautiful! I have bought so many of those tags out of the machine at pet stores and of course, they wear out quickly. These really look like they'll last a long time. Great review! www.mkclinton.com

  16. The tags look really nice. My tag is plain and getting quite scratched now. I have a microchip as well.

    1. Microchips are great also!
The normal tags get so scratched so easily, then you can't even read them, and just have to replace them. That's why I like these! They last!
