The Sibe Vibe - Noisy huskies!

Hiya everyone,
I hope you all had a great week and a PAWsome start to your weekend!

This weeks vibe will be a tad mismatched. Hope you don't mind :)

As always we will be joining Ruckus the Eskie for his sepia Saturday hop.
You can enjoy some great sepia photo's of the pack while catchin' the vibe with our sibes!

On my Thoughtless Thursday post  I shared some edited videos and told you all that the originals would be released on today's vibe.

First I just had to repost this photo of Koda wearing his princess tiara that my three year old daughter put on him, so that he could be a princess like her. (her words) I thought it would be nice to see a sepia version of the photo. Not sure how much Koda appreciated the photo being posted again, but he is just so darn cute as a princess!

On that note,  here is today's sibe vibe husky fun fact :

 Huskies are incredibly noisy dogs!

Like i'm talking REAL noisy! Barking? No, they barely bark at all. They howl and talk and sing the song of their people.....ok, I mean the song of the huskies!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love hearing them talk and carry on.
People who have not met huskies before? Hmmm.....not so much!

They can sound pretty ferocious when they want to. Especially when they get into some rough play.
I don't blame people for being a little nervous with the sounds they make, but truly, this is a husky trait.

I have been at the dog park when my huskies start carrying on and being "noisy dogs," and the looks you get are looks as if to say "um....get that crazy dog away from mine" however, as I said, this is just a husky trait! They like to be noisy! They aren't going to hurt your dogs without good reason they are just playing! Ha!

Take a moment to view these videos which are the originals to my thoughtless Thursday post.

That was just a small taste of some husky talk.

This next video shows how noisy and ferocious they can sound. As you can plainly see, their tails are waggin and they have smiles on those gorgeous husky faces! They are having fun, but I suppose you can't blame someone for thinking they sound "mean"

Of course their wolf like appearance probably doesn't help!

Ever notice that once you watch a video with your own voice in it, you always sound like a nob?!?!
BOL! Ah well!

Huskies are noisy! That's what they do best! They only slightly do not want to eat your chihuahua for breakfast! They only howl at the moon sometimes do not howl at the moon as if they were a wolf, which is a myth anyways...

NOW, as I said, this is a bit of a mish mash post.
Once a month my pal Earl from Earls World had a blog hop called PPP (Pinch Punch Post)
They sure could use some other linkers, so feel free so join in!
Co host for this hop is My Dog  Diaries

In this hop, the idea is to share what we have done in the last month, and what we have planned for the month ahead.
So, what have the sibes been up to?
We have done some major changes on our blog.
We have some new PAWsome affiliate partners.
We won a great ASPCA giveaway from Well minded pets.
Made some great new bloggin pals!
Spent some long awaited time outside in sunny weather.

Mika enjoying some sun. Sepia style!

And best of all? We participated in Aprils A to Z challenge! We had a ton of fun!

What are the sibes up to this month?

WELL, we have something coming up real soon. Still working out all the kinks, but once my little business venture takes place, you all will be the first to know and find out how YOU can participate!!!

We have some pretty amazing giveaways coming up this month!
We are also doing some equally amazing product reviews, we are so excited to bring attention to these fab products!
I am trying to make plans to take my huskies to a doggie event at the end of May. Call it an amusement park for dogs if you will.  A water park, fun doggie activities and a whole lot more!

I am in the midst of connecting my blog to different husky rescues. I have a page underneath my header that is under construction and I will be adding to it as time goes on. The idea is to help people find a husky rescue near them, and also to educate those who are interested in being owned by a husky. Educate them about husky traits, what to expect, and for them to find out if a husky is truly the breed they are looking for.

Lexus says it PAWfectly in this sepia photo of her. Her tongue out look plainly says "phew, busy month ahead!"

There you have it furiends, my Speia Saturday, Sibe, Vibe, PPP post!

Enjoy your weekend!
See you Monday!

  9. Hailey can be noisy like that at times. Drives us crazy when she gets howling, usually at something on the tv! I had heard huskies 'talking' before. Thanks for sharing the videos I had on very low volume to prevent the howling here!

  22. Oh, I love how vocal they are! I had to watch it while Luke was not in the room, because he reacts to any dog noises he hears on my computer (or the TV). Luke and Sheba can be pretty noisy when they're playing, but with them it's mostly barking. I love to see them having fun, but it can get annoying when you're trying to carry on a conversation with someone! LOL
