The Sibe Vibe - Pet Cancer Awareness

Hiya everyone, hope your weekend is going well so far!

Welcome to the Sibe Vibe.
We are joining Ruckus the Eskie for his Sepia Saturday blog hop.
Call it a Sepia Sibe Vibe if you will.
You can link up too! Post your fav sepia shots or hop around and see what they others linkers are sharing this weekend.

Most of you know, on the Vibe, I usually do a fun husky fact. However, today's post is a bit more serious then usual.

Why?

May is Pet Cancer awareness month.

I would like to take today to share a story about a husky named Tico. I have shared a wee bit on him before, but his story is so amazing, I thought today would be PAWfect!

A foster puppy named Tico came into the care of the Tails of the Tundra husky rescue with a challenging congenital disorder, Spinal Nephroblastoma.
He was going through radiation therapy after surgery removed 80% of the tumor which was pressing against his spine. His hind quarters were paralyzed when he came in, and now after his surgery, his movement continues to improve.

As far as I can tell from what I have read, there has been no tumor regrowth, and Tico is a very strong hearted, strong willed husky with a loving family.

Tico is a cancer survivor!
Way to go buddy!

If you would like to help Tico the husky and his family,
head on over to rockindahuskies.com and check out their selection of Fight Canine Cancer clothing line, as well as decals. By purchasing something from this section, rockin da huskies will donate 20% of your purchase to Tico for help with his medical costs and another 10% to the National Canine Cancer foundation

There are so many pets out there who are suffering from some type of cancer. I could not imagine what you are going through. I have lost human family members to cancer though, and I want you all to know that you will always have our thoughts and prayers with you.

Want more?

Another way you can help fight Canine cancer this month :
Zukes has a very cool, very easy solution for you.

Simply upload a photo of your dog, lovin life to your fav media site or straight to Zukes FB page, and use #FuelTheLove and @ZukesPets in your post.

For every photo, Zukes will donate $5.00 to the Dog and Cat Cancer fund.

How easy is that?

There you have it, today I have given you two ways to help fight the big "C"

Lovin' these Thursday evening walk photos done up sepia style!

    1. It is, I agree as well.
I love when different companies do what they can to make it easy for us to help. Such as the $5 photo upload, or buying some rockin clothing, and helping fight at the same time, There are so many options out there for us to choose from which can help.
      Thanks for comin by!
