Walk your dogs on Thoughtless Thursday

Hiya everyone!

Welcome to this weeks edition of the Thoughtless Thursday blog hop.

This hop is hosted by Ruckus the Eskie and me, Love is being owned by a husky!
Give your brains a break and link up with us for some thoughtlessness.
Or, see what others have thought not to think about for today's posts! Ha!!
"Don't think, just link"

Now that the weather has been warming up, people are getting out much more with their dogs. They are everywhere! And for good reason. The town I live in is quite small, and things seem to come alive in the spring. The city workers plant beautiful gardens along the roads and parks, the air smells of fresh spring water from the river and dogs are everywhere with their humans.

As small of a town that I do live in, it is a historical town. It is quite interesting to walk around and see the different statues, and read the plaques on the side of certain buildings which have been standing for years and years, and learn what that building was way back when.

My favorite part of my town is the river that runs straight through it, about a block behind my house. This is where we choose to have our nightly walks with the huskies. We walk along the path by the river and take in the sights and smells. It is just beautiful.
(Plus there is a whole lot of "pee mail" left by other dogs on trees along the path, for my huskies to smell) Eeew!

Today I thought I would share some photos of our walk down the park path by the river.
There are picnic tables all through the park, which my huskies love to stand on.

On the way back through, we stopped at another picnic table that they decided to jump on. This time it was closer to the river, so we got some GREAT photos!
The lighting was just beautiful after the sun went went down.

Then I got a great shot of my daughter and Koda chillin' on the table.

These next two photos are amazing! I absolutely love how they turned out!

The very last photo is by far the best photo I have ever been able to get of my girl Mika!
She is not an easy husky to photograph, so I will thrilled the way this turned out!!!
I am going to have this printed and framed.
I love how the sky is almost purple too.

Here is a video where I show the river in more detail. It is super beautiful! Our river somewhat flooded this year with all of the rain that we have had, so I show that in the video as well!
Check it out! We also have some day time photos and videos I will release on an upcoming post.

Thanks for watching everybody, sorry for the poor quality of the video. The best I could do with my blackberry! Remember, you can subsrcibe to our channel for lots of husky fun! Just click our YouTube button on the top of our sidebar.

It is National pet week, so get out, get active, and go for a walk with your dogs!
Play with your kitties, bunnies, whatever pet you have! They make our lives complete, as do our human children. Make sure you show them that.
Do you have a fav place to walk, or play?

See you tomorrow when we will be PAWtying on the pet parade!

  6. Looks like you had a lovely time on your walk. :) Nailah loves going for walks too. She doesn't care where we go so long as she gets to stretch her legs a bit.

  7. Great photos and video, and what a lovely place you have to walk. I live in such a rural area there's not a lot to see on our regular walks (unless some wildlife pops out or something).
I have to tell you though, I have kind of a phobia about walking over bridges, and that one place you walked where there wasn't a railing on both sides would have freaked me out! LOL! That river is really flowing strong!

  14. We love going for a walk, we get to go just about everyday now that there isn't any slippery ice for the Momster. But it is raining today so maybe no walk. That river walk looks like a lot of fun - great pics too.

    1. Thanks so much! I was actually amazed at these! They turned out better then any other photos I have ever taken! All of my photos are done with my blackberry, I think with these it was all lighting. The sun had JUST gone down, there were dim street lamps in the park, plus the shine coming off of the river, so I think all of that mixed just made for some great shots!
