Weekend Fun - Huskies in the sun!

Hiya everyone!

For us Canadians, yesterday was a holiday known as Victoria Day.
An extra day off, and guess what?
The weather was GORGEOUS!!!

It was our first really nice day so far this year.
We have had a few "not bad" days, but Monday was PAWfect!

We all spent the day outside, playing, doing yard work, and just chillaxin in the sun!

I was able to take some really beautiful photos of the pack and of my girls as well.

I think i'm starting to get the hang of this photography thing!

Lexus had a ton of fun  running around, smelling the sweet smell of our fresh cut grass.

I have been really trying to use the tips I have read about on some other folks blogs. One main thing, I now use, is to get eye level with your pets. I think it works nicely!

Mika is content to just lay in a shady spot, and enjoy her relaxation while she watches the kids play on the slide.

Soakin' up the sun, and big husky smiles comin' your way!

Koda just loves everything, as long as he is with us!

Lovin' every minute of it!

Koda is also the only one who offered to help his daddy with the yard work . . .  whether daddy liked it or not! haha!!

The huskies had a great day outside playing, but they're not the only ones!

The girls had a blast as well!

How was your weekend?
Did mother nature finally give you a break with some sunny gorgeous weather?

Meet our adoptable husky of the week

This gorgeous boy is a Siberian Husky named Kodiak.
He has beautiful blue eyes and is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
Kodiak has no known health issues and he is already micro-chipped.
He is crate trained, house broken, and is GREAT with kids and other dogs.

Can you help find Kodiak his long awaited furever home?
If so, please check out his page at howlatthemoonrescue.com
He is currently residing at the Siberian Husky Rescue in Zanesville OH.
Please share so we can find him a home!

This husky is being shared through the Tuesday Tails blog hop, hosted by Lisa from Dogs 'n' Pawz and Sue from Talking Dogs

Thanks so much! They are beautiful! There's no denying that! They get their looks from their nanny ;)
Thank you for noticing the difference in my photos! I have noticed a big difference as well, and it is learning what the professionals do. The eye level thing makes a big difference!
      Paws are crossed for Kodiak!

  2. I think getting eye level with them is one of the best tips too. We had a super busy weekend as well and now I'm behind of course! Had to spend most of the day at the doctor's office with my oldest daughter today. PS - I think I might have the same exact slide as you!

    1. I think so too!
Oh no! I hope your daughter is ok :/
It is not fun, getting behind, but it happens all to often.
My daughters love that slide!!! The best part of it, is that you can climb up all three sides, and the slide is steep so it's fast!

  6. What a beautiful day, and great photos! We had a very nice weekend and spent it cleaning up the yard. Yes, the dogs wanted to "help" too! Cricket helps by bringing us her ball to throw! LOL

  7. Looks like a great day off, great sun pictures. What program do you use to make your collages? I was trying to make some last night and ended up just putting 4-5 pictures on a blank sheet.

    1. Hi JoAnn, and thanks! Glad you like my photo's. I use pic monkey. They have several different types of collages you can use. Fotor also has some good collages.
But I prefer pic monkey, to me it is easier to use. If you have any questions about pic monkey, i'd be happy to help, just shoot me an email. (you can find it in my contact info)

I think it helps big time! Makes a huge difference. Although sometimes when we need a quick photo it is not always doable.

  9. Hi Y'all!

When all 100 lbs of me run over you, knock you down and jump on you...thinkin', of course, that you want to play...

Kodiak is beautiful and has that classic look...he should be adopted quickly.
