Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!
This is a hop hosted by Blog Paws, and it is our day, as bloggers, to let our photos tell the story.
We all know my Wordless Wednesday posts aren't entirely wordless, but i'll try my best!
On yesterday's post, I shared some tips and photos on keeping your pets safe on Canada Day, and any other holiday throughout the hot summer days.
Now, I would like to share some of the photo's I took during our Canada Day fun!
I hope you enjoy. My family had a blast!
Happy Birthday Canada!
This first photo shows my husky Koda, showing off his Canada flag ensemble!
The two above photo's are my daughters, getting their faces painted.
My oldest daughter (top photo) asked for a butterfly wing design on her left eye. It turned out gorgeous!
My youngest daughter said these exact words to the face painting lady, "I would like my face to look like the orange kitty that my mommy takes care of outside."
I thought this was so sweet, as the kitty she is referring to, is one of the strays I give food and water to daily.
And she wanted to look just like him. She calls the kitty, Cinnamon.
This photo (above) is husky daddy Mark (my hubby) just sitting down for a break and a drink of water while the kids and I played.
Then of course we had to have a husky mom shot. Me and Koda pose for the camera.
Now for some bouncy castle fun!
My little girl was having a blast! My oldest daughter was with one of her friends at the bigger bouncy castle.
Then it was once again break time. We sat under a shady tree and had some lunch and lots of water, and a well deserved rest!
Notice in the photo above, we brought along our Kurgo Zippy portable bowl. It came in very handy!
We had such a fun day!
In case any of you are wondering, Koda is the only one of our huskies that we brought with us.
We did this for a couple different reasons.
Some of you may remember a few weeks back, myself, my mother and my oldest daughter, took my other two huskies (Mika and Lexus) out to a dog event at Bedrock Kennels. We had left Koda home for that one, because he had not been in such a busy setting before, with crowds of people everywhere.
See my Bedrock Kennel post : part one and part two.
Since then, we have been working with Koda on his anxiety, and socializing him more and more, so we brought him with us today, and he did GREAT!
I hope all of my Canadian furiends out there had a great time celebrating the birth of our country as well!
See you tomorrow for our Thoughtless Thursday Blog Hop.
