Get inside my brain on the Pet Parade!

Crazy title huh?
Who in their dogs right mind would want to get in my brain?
Well, today your gonna get a sneak peak, but we'll get to that in a moment.

Welcome to this weeks Pet Parade!
This is a blog hop hosted by Rascal and Rocco.
Your co hosts include : Bionic Basil, Jan's Funny Farm, Barking from the Bayou,
and me, from Love is being owned by a husky!
Link up and parade your fav pet photos or share some great stories.
If your not a blogger, you can follow our parade by clicking on the thumbnail links below my post. Link back to your hosts and have FUN!

It's the 4th of July for my U.S pals, and I would like to wish you all a Happy Happy 4th of July!!!

Now, let's get back to my blog title today.
Want to see in my brain?
I didn't think so, but today I am part of a chain effect here in the blogosphere.

I was invited to participate in "The writing process blog tour." - Inside a pet bloggers head.

I was happy to accept and share some of my thoughts with you, my readers.

I was invited to join the tour by Cathy Armato.

Cathy is the very talented writer and creator of the blog
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them!
I haven't known Cathy for very long, but in the time I have been following her blog, I have quickly became a fan! She has two gorgeous pups which she blogs about often.
Meet Isis and Phoebe :

I thoroughly enjoy following the lives of these two pups, as well as learning all of the great tips and helpful info that Cathy blogs about. I encourage you to check out their blog, and meet her pets!
I was a little shocked when I was asked to join this writing tour. I work hard on my blog, and I enjoy writing, but it's hard for me to consider myself a writer.

Ok, time to get to the point.
There are 3 questions that we are to answer during this writing tour. All blog related.
I'll do my best to answer each one.
Here goes . . .

1) What am I working on?

Currently I am trying to grow my fan base and followers of this blog. As well as my numbers in social media.
I am learning (with the help of blog paws) how to create a business plan for myself and my blog.
I am in the midst of creating a media kit as well.
For those of you who don't know what a media kit is, it is sort of like a resume, but in the blogging world.
It shows our follower numbers, brands we have worked with etc . . . and we send it to a company whom we would like to work with, and do sponsored posts for them.

The other big thing I have been working on is our Pawz 'N' Clawz Jewlery 'N' Things store.
In yesterdays post I shared with you, that our store has expanded. So we are doing our best to get the word out on our newest items and continue to expand.

2) Why do I write what I do?

I could go on about this FURever, but I will try and keep it short.
If you are a regular here at my husky blog, you will know my main focus is my 3 Siberian Huskies.
Mika, Koda and Lexus.

They are my daily inspiration for this blog. I stared blogging because I simply wanted to share life with my 3 huskies. I didn't plan on actually taking blogging serious to be honest with you.
However, as my blog grew, and I was introduced to all of the wonderful people in the "blogging world" I started to realize what I could accomplish with my writing.
I strive to be real with my readers. I am not pawfect, my dogs are not pawfectly trained, but I do know almost everything there is to know about huskies!
I love being able to educate people on the breed, and bring them info on training, through my own experiences. I also realized the impact I can make in the world with my blog.
I can share adoptable animals, and quite possibly find some well deserving pups a furever home.
I can teach what I know about pet health, and perhaps help someone through a tough time they may be having with their pet, by sharing my own experiences.
I can bring a smile to someones day by sharing the crazy antics of my huskies and my kitties.
I can bring attention to pawsome products I have discovered.
I can make a difference.

3) How does my writing process work?

I don't know that I could say I am entirely organized when it comes to a writing process.
I do my best though.
I have a post it note app on my tablet, which I use quite often. The reason for this is, it doesn't matter where I am, or what I am doing, when an idea pops into my mind which I think would make a great blog post, I save it to my post it app.
I blog every day but Sunday, and I try and write about a variety of things. All pet related of course.
I take a MILLION photos of my pets throughout the day!
My huskies do not like to cooperate very often when I try and do a photo shoot, so I have to take so many of them, and pick the best ones possible.
I spend some time in the morning visiting my fav blogs, and commenting, and as I am a stay at home mom, I then take a few hours to spend with my kids. In the afternoon, I edit photo's, jot down ideas, or anything that might come to my mind at that point in time, and then in the evening after the kids are in bed, I write my posts.

There you have it!
The next thing we are asked to do in the writing tour is invite 3 other bloggers who we admire to join the chain effect tour and write a brief description of their blog.

I'd like to introduce you to Jan and the gang from Wag 'N' Woof Pets.

I have been following Jan's blog for quite some time, and we became fast furiends. She is such a passionate and caring woman, and this plainly shows through her writing about her pets. She cares about animal welfare, and brings pet safety tips as well. I just love following the lives of her beautiful pets! She has loved and lost, as the rest of us have, and she continues to make people smile when they visit her blog. Please visit her blog and say hello!
Tell her the huskies sent you!

Next I would like to introduce Misaki from the blog
The misadventures of Misaki.

Misaki is a beautiful Malamute, as you can plainly see from the photo!.
Sharing the same breed family as our huskies, (spitz) we have a lot in common. So many of Misaki's antics remind me of my own dogs, and I love how she speaks from her own "dog" point of view.
She always posts the most beautiful photos and has great adventures which we, as her readers, get to join her in. Misaki is also a recent winner of my K9 Kelp Summer Fun Contest! You should definitely head over and check out her blog, and see her winnings from our contest!

Last, but certainly not least, allow me to introduce Earl from the blog Earls World.

Earls is another blog I have followed for quite some time. This pup is one talented terrier! I mean, just look at all those ribbons! He does amazing agility, and he and his mom always post helpful information on everything from pet health, to agility tips.
Earl's photos are always adorable, as he has a habit of closing his eyes when the camera flashes. That always makes for such an adorable little Earl face!
BTW Thursday was Earls moms birthday! I bet they would be so surprised if you all went over there with some birthday wishes! Click here to go!

That wraps up my writing tour folks, and I must apologize for the wordy post! What can I say? I have a lot to talk about!

Now that you have been inside my brain for a day, how 'bout you? What inspires you?

Have a great Friday everyone!
