My husky is a spot thief!

Hi guys, welcome to another day of Thoughtlesness!

Just click on the thumbnail images you see below my post.

Since today is suppose to be thoughtless ( and I mean thoughtless ) I have just put together a few photos for you today.

The weather has been beautiful lately, so we have spent a ton of time outdoors.
I brought out my lounge chairs recently, cleaned them off and attempted to sit on them.
I say attempted, because as soon as I put a blanket on the lounge chair, I found myself battling Mika and Koda for the spot!

Koda was first, he jumped right up on my chair, and laid down!

Then came Mika. She pulls rank on the other dogs in the house, so when she told him to move . . .
he moved! You can see the bit of sulk on his face after she kicked him off!

I finally decided that it was my turn, and kicked all the huskies off of the chair.
I was sitting there for two minutes when this happened :

Mika weaseled her way up on my chair, and laid in between my legs.
No, I didn't make her leave. I shared the spot with her. ;)

Before you go, I had to share this with you . . .

Ok, so, I don't know about you, but when I think "Siberian Husky," I think stunning, beautiful, majestic, bla bla bla. Mika and Lexus always take gorgeous photos, and those things all shine through.

BUT . . .
Koda, on the other hand :

What can I say ?
There's always that one furiend!
He is my big 'ol goof ball, and I love every bit of it!

Now it's your turn!
Do your pets have a fav spot to lay?
Do they steal your spots?
Do you have that one "goofy" pet?

Leave us your answers in the comments below, and enjoy the rest of your Thursday.
See you tomorrow for the Pet Parade blog hop!

  1. Oh yeah...we have the same problem!! They don't want to share necessarily...they would prefer the entire chair! :)

I have so many fav spots in and out of the house, but I find that Smoochie keeps stealing them, he's like a sneaky little spot stalking stealer! MOL

See mew at the Pet Parade tomorrow, and keep your eyes peeled to sky, as something's coming, something big....!!! [Pink Flamingo Saga next week]

  4. Koda wants to be a clown!
I always stick to the shade when possible, so I never steal spots like that!

  5. They always steal our spots! Especially at bedtime. Mauja can take up a surprising amount of room on the bed! We say that Atka is our goon. He always looks so goofy, while Mauja tends to look majestic.

    1. hahaha!!!
I know what you mean about the bed thing!
Mika prefers the living room and the couch at night, but the other two huskies battle us for the bed every night!

  6. Oh, so funny about the lounge chair! N.A.S.H.A. always steals our warm spots on the couch when we get up, or she's all about a warm pile of clean laundry. Our "one pet" is probably my son's fish. He loves to eat so much that he's jumped out of the bowl several times at feeding time. I've saved his life quite a few times. Duh!

  7. Our Sally used to do the exact same thing whenever we sat outside. Jack is too big to do it and luckily he doesn't try.

    1. Nice! I don't think it would matter how big or how small, Koda would steal it anyways! haha!

  8. Funny enough, we are experiencing this problem RIGHT now as I type :-)

  9. BOL! Koda is such a goofball!! And Ma thought sharing the lounge chair with me was bad....at least I am small. I surely don't take up as much room as a husky!

    1. BOL! Yea! No kidding, you would take up much less room then my huskies, that's for sure!

  12. Someone in the crowd has to be the funny one, and it looks like Koda does very well at that job! It's too funny how everyone fought over the lounge chair! Kobi used to love the lounge chairs, especially when he could lay with Dad on it. The girls don't do it as much, but Luke is starting to be like Kobi....one of his favorite places to take a toy to chew on it is on the lounge chair on the deck!

    1. It's strange! Because anything else, they would not have done that, but the second I pulled out those chairs, they were all over them! I have no clue why! But I know now, that I need to invest in one so they can have it to themselves! BOL!

  13. Bentley is a notorious spot stealer! He would grump at me when I attempted to move him. Now, i get him a treat and put it on the other end of the couch where he has to move to get it. I know darn good and well that he takes my spot just so he can get a treat. He has trained me well. ☺

    1. BOL!!!! Our pets have a way of doing that eh? We think we are training them, but I think they train us just as much!

  14. Boo will steal my chair at a certain time at night, her message to me is it's time for bed! Because she likes to sleep there throughout the night. All of your Huskies take great photos!

  19. Too funny! Little Phoebe is my spot stealer. She wants to be everywhere I am and will worm her way onto my lap, between my back & the chair back and anywhere else she can weasel in to. The dogs aren't allowed on the bed but Isis sneaks up on it any time we are not looking! When I scold her for it, she just gives me The Look - you know the one I mean!
