My huskies can do the gardening!

Hiya everyone!

Welcome to this weeks Pet Parade blog hop.
This fab hop is hosted by Rascal and Rocco, and co hosted by :
Jan's Funny Farm, Bionic Basil, Barking from the Bayou,
and me from Love is being owned by a husky!
Link up with us, or just have fun hopping around to the different blogs via the thumbnail images below. To see the parades featured pet of the week click HERE.

You may be curious about my title right about now. "My huskies can do the gardening."
Ok, so they can't actually do the gardening, although they try! I had Mika outside with me while I was digging up the weeds and she decided she would help with the digging. As much of a  annoyance "help" that she was, I soon sent her in, and I do apologize, I didn't have my camera on me, so I couldn't get photos of her masterpiece!
After the gardens were done, I decided to get some photos of the family.

First up was Mika, and the kids. (above)

Then I had to take a solo photo of my girl sitting in front of the garden.

Then it was time for Lexus to join the photo shoot.
She loves having her photo taken and was more then happy to snuggle up and look cute for the camera.

Solo Lexus has the biggest husky smile on her face! I love this photo! (above)

Then comes my big 'ol goof ball, Koda, and the human, hairless kids.

And . . . um. . .  Koda's solo photo.
Well, as you can plainly see, I had to "censor" this photo. He was a little "to happy" to be having his photo taken. ;)

After the interruption with the Mika digging in the garden, we got a lot done that day, and I love how the family photos turned out!

I gotta ask, because us husky folk are curious to know,
do your pets help you do the gardening?
Does anyone else have trouble photographing their male pets, due to then being "overly happy?"
Any solutions to that little problem? I'd love to hear them!

If you have problems with your dogs digging up your yard, see my post on how to prevent having potholes all over your yard.

That's all for now, have a great Friday, and see you tomorrow for Siberian Saturday!

I would like to say a special thank you to my good friend, Melissa, from the blog Barking from the Bayou. She recently did a product review with some items she purchased from our Pawz 'N' Clawz Jewelry 'N' Things store. We are so thrilled that you are happy with your items, and truly appreciate the great review :)
You can head over to see the review HERE.

  8. What a great collection of photos. Veruca helps with the gardening by digging hole in the lawn looking for moles. She hasn't found on yet.

  9. I have the same issue taking pictures of Atka. Most of the time I just end up taking pictures of him in a down. Hopefully once he gets fixed, he won't be hanging out quite as much ;)

  13. bailey is no help in the garden. she prefers to lounge in the shade. but aoife (my grand-doggie) LOVES to help in the garden. she's really good about helping only when we are gardening. she doesn't bother the landscaping at any other time. i actually have a post about her and my garden scheduled for this coming monday.

Those are such great family photos....that is quite the big family you have!
I don't think I've had to censor any photos yet....LOL...but I try to keep an eye out for that!

  16. My dogs help garden, too. They're great diggers.

As for the "happy" problem, I use a tool in Photoshop Elements called clone stamp that allows me to grab a part of the photo and stamp it somewhere else. So if you choose a part right next to The Part, it blends right in and nobody notices.

  17. Heh heh. Koda looks like a handfull. Maybe he needs that t-shirt I had earlier this week. TW said as a kid, she would have been terrified of those huskies.

    1. Koda was a handful when we first adopted him, but he improves every day. He is just a big goof ball now. He has so much love to give, and in his eyes, not enough human to give it to!
I don't blame TW for saying that, because when you are a child, a huskies wolf like appearance would scare anybody if they didn't live with them. But they truly are so gentle and loving, and absolutely nothing to be scared of.
      Thanks for popping by!

  18. You are so welcome for the review! I love my jewelry & my sign. ♥ Bentley is a great help with my gardening. He likes to hold the dirt down for me. Of course, the flowers need to be held down by his entire body. I laughed through the entire rest of your blog after the censorship! BOL!!!!

I know what you mean, and I have had to discard so many photos for that reason!
But, I only had one solo one of him in the garden, so I had to post it, and I thought the censored thing was cute anyways! BOL!!
