Before we get started, last week, I asked for help from you on figuring out a title for my Saturday posts.
Saturdays are my days where I do some Siberian Husky facts, stories, videos and basically just anything "husky." You all had wonderful suggestions, and the most popular two that people liked were "Pack talk with the huskies" and "All things husky" so I ask you again. PLEASE HELP! I cannot decide, and I love them both so much. I am leaving the decision up to YOU! ;)
Moving on, we have a great review for you today!
First, let me show you a photo :
This is a photo of my girl Mika. In sepia of course.
Why am I showing you this?
Take a look at this one :
How cool is that?
The review I am doing today is from a lovely lady named Michelle from Wolff Den Press.
She is an extremely talented artist, and she puts her heart and soul into all of her work. I loved reading about her on her website when she says the greatest compliment she could receive is hearing people say "you really captured their ______."
To me, this says she puts everything she has into capturing the real essence of her artwork. She creates beautiful portraits of numerous things which you can find at her site HERE or you can check her out on FB HERE.
As Michelle was creating the portrait of Mika, she sent me the different stages of her work.
Stage 1 -
Stage 2 -
Stage 3 -
I really enjoyed seeing the stages being created right before my eyes! It really raised my anticipation of what the finished product would look like. And as you can imagine, I was even more ecstatic when I received My Mika in the mail! I went out and got a frame, and even had it matted.
Mika couldn't wait to get a photo done of herself, with her new portrait!
Mika gives you her best side profile, while posing with her portrait.
I think Michelle did a great job! She really captured Mika's determined look from the photo.
I wouldn't hesitate to contact her when I want to get one done of Lexus and Koda.
And guess what?
You can even buy Mika from Michelle!
Ok, well, you can't actually buy 'Mika' from her, but you can get her picture on a cell phone case, a canvas, a greeting card and more!
Check it out HERE.
Mika has been so wonderfully titled "The honorable husky!" on Michelle's site.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Michelle for this gorgeous portrait, and for donating her time and talent to our blog.
One last before and after shot for you, so you can really see the wonderful work done here.
You can find Michelle Wolff on :
