We have a bit of a mix post for you today.
Today is National Dog Day!
A day to celebrate our dogs, and all of the love they bring us!
What will you do to celebrate National Dog day?
Make some special treats for your dog? Spend some great quality one on one bonding time with your dog?
Go to the dog park?
I'd love to hear your plans in our comment section!
I will share our adventures with you later this week.
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to My Dog Diaries for the blog of the week award!
Unfortunately this is not an award which I can pass on to anyone, however we are incredibly honored to be labeled "blog of the week." Thank you so much, we will proudly display our award on our side bar.
Next up, a huge thank you goes out to Earls World, for awarding us the Most Influential blogger award!
This brought a huge smile to my face, to be thought of as an influential blogger.
Thanks so much Earl, and your newest addition, Ethel, and of course, your mom.
For this award, I am suppose to tell you my favorite song, and pass the award on to 10 other bloggers.
Of course, my first thought to what my favorite song is, has to be the beautiful howl of my huskies, but I suppose that doesn't count, so next up would have to be Raging Fire, by Phillip Phillips.
If you don't know this song, check it out in this video . . . and enjoy some eye candy while your at it! ;-)
I had a really hard time deciding who to pass this award on to.
This is the worst part of accepting an award, because there are SO many blogs I would like to pass this to.
But here are my 10 :
- Puppy Leaks
- Barking from the Bayou
- It's Dog Or Nothing
- My Rotten Dogs
- Sugar the Golden Retriever
- Happiness is Siamese
- Manx Mnews
- Savannah's Paw Track
- Nerissa's Life
Since there were SO SO many others I had in mind, I am bending the rules a little bit, and offering this award to any of my readers. If your here, and reading this post, you are entitled to it!
SO, pick up "The most influential blogger" award badge above, post your fav song, and list 10 other bloggers to pass it on to.
This is a gorgeous female Wooly coat Siberian Husky.
She is 14 years old, and has a lot of love left to give.
The reason this poor girl was surrendered?
The owners wanted to "travel"
Yep, pretty sad huh? Travelling was more important to these people then their own fur family member.
She was surrendered to the Massachusetts Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals, which is located near Cape Cod.
She is described to be in excellent health, with NO behavioral issues.
She is in great shape, and is extremely loving, however is a bit anxious. Which can be expected when your family dumps you at a shelter like that.
If you think this gorgeous husky would make a good fit for your life, or if you can give her a foster home, please contact Steve 508 737 6675.
Or visit HERE for more info.
Our adoptable husky of the week is linked up to the Tuesday Tails blog hop.
Hosted by Lisa from Dogs 'N' Pawz and Sue from Talking Dogs.
Thanks for sharing part of your day with us, see you tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday.
