Hiya everyone!
Welcome to another installment of the Pet Parade meets Flashback Fridays!

The Pet Parade hop is hosted by Rascal and Rocco.
Co hosted by Barking from The Bayou, Bionic Basil, Jan's Funny Farm, and me, from
Love is being owned by a husky!

Strut your stuff in our pet parade hop by linking up, and sharing your fav photos and stories.

And, for those of you who don't know, I have recently accepted the co host position of another great hop, called Flashback Fridays.

 Flashback Friday's is hosted by
Five Sibes Mom, and me, from Love is being owned by a husky!

For this hop, link up and share some flashback photos! Any photos from the past, or stories you may have. All pets welcome!

Heck, why not mash the 2 together? You can create your own Pet Parade meets Flashback Friday!

The last 2 Friday's has featured Lexus, and Koda, as puppies, and a brief story on how they came to be part of our pack. If you would like to head back and learn more about them, follow the links!

This week, it's Mika's turn.
When we adopted Mika, she was not a pup but almost 3 years old.
So, as we do not have puppy photos of her, I would still love to share her story with you.

This photo was taken within the first week she was with us.

So, how did Mika come to be part of our pack?

Her previous owners loved her very much.
Her human man was diagnosed with dementia, and had taken a turn for the worse.
This is when his sister stepped in.
She was caring for Mika, but was unable to keep her.
As you can imagine, I was more than happy to adopt this beauty.

The lady met with us, and interviewed us thoroughly. She did not want to see Mika go to a home that she would not be loved nor cared for.
When she decided that we were a good fit for Mika, they were parting ways. It was sad for me to see. The lady was crying, and Mika was confused.
We immediately decided to take her for a walk, so she could get to know her new neighborhood.

She was thrilled!
She walked around like she owned the place, and was happy from that point on.

My oldest daughter was visiting her Nanny for a week in the summer time when we adopted Mika.
All I did was send a pic of her.
My daughter instantly knew we had adopted her.
Of course, she was super excited!

This photo shows the first time my daughter met Mika.
I love and will cherish this one forever!

Mika, and the rest of the Sibe Tribe are my paw-fect pack.

Thanks so much for joining us!
