Grateful huskies #ShareGratitude

Oh hi there! *paw waves*
So glad you stopped by!

Today is Wordless Wednesday, hosted by Blogpaws.
This post is anything but wordless, but since I have had so many wonderful comments about people (and dogs and cats) looking forward to my weekly graphics, I shall not disappoint!

"Every mountain top is within reach,
if you just keep climbing."

~Barry Finlay

That is one of my favorite quotes. as it rings true for me.
It is sort like a "never give up" type thing!

We are also joining Oz the Terrier, Cascadian Nomads, Loved By A Collie and Kitty Cat Chronicles in their Share Gratitude blog hop. Even though our Canadian Thanksgiving is long gone, I have a lot to be grateful for every single day of my life.

I could just start putting a million things on a list right now, but i'll save you from reading my "grateful for" book! BOL!

Of course, the main things are my children, including my fur covered children and my beautiful family. I am also grateful for you! My readers, my friends.

As I mentioned in my 1 year Blogiversary post, in the time I have been blogging, I have met some wonderful people! Not in person, but to me, a friend is a friend. You laugh with them, hurt with them, grow with them.

One family I would especially like to mention today is Sherri Ellen and her sweet kitty Nylablue.
I have followed her blog for quite some time, and quickly grew attached to Nyla.
She was not a healthy kitty, she had been going through quite a few vet visits, medications etc...
I am sad to say, Nyla has crossed the rainbow bridge.

Sherri and Nyla stopped by my blog to say goodbye to me a few days ago, and to let me know what was coming. Then I saw her very last post. Nyla has gone to summer land, as she said, and I know she is happy there, and free of pain.

Sweet Nyla, you are missed dearly already. xoxoxoxo
Sherri-Ellen, my thoughts are with you.

We were asked to put this badge on our blog in memory of Nyla.

Thanks for coming by everyone.

  9. Always enjoy your artwork and the quotes you capture them with - today is no exception. So sorry to hear about Nyla's passing. No matter the time of year nor the age of our pet, it's always devastating - prayers to the family. May you my Husky furrends be blessed abundantly this Thanksgiving season as you gather with your family and friends. Much love from Harley and I here in Doodleville.

    1. Thanks so much for your comment. It is not Thanksgiving for me here, our Canadian Thanksgiving was last month. But I do wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving, and I am grateful to have you as furiends!
Your absolutely right, it is always devastating to lose a loved one. Furry, or none.

  15. I am so glad you joined the Share Gratitude hop! Giving thanks doesn't have to just be around either Canadian or American Thanksgivings- it is for everyday! Especially with human and non-human children and in person or through a keyboard friends to be grateful for! Thank you so much for joining our hop but most of all for sharing your furry family with us here on your blog and on social media. You always make me smile! I am very grateful for that.

  16. Very nice post! Lovely graphic as always, and we love to hear of the things you are thankful for (and feel the same). I didn't really know Nyla or her Mom very well, but I saw her goodbye message to you and it was so sad. But at least she is not suffering now and her Mom has so many friends to help her through this difficult time. I know very well how much of a help that really is.
