A family from California was devastated, after a mudslide came down on their home.
To add more devastation to these people, their dog - a Dachshund named Tinkerbell went missing during the slide.
During the mudslides, firefighters had to rescue the couple from their home, and Tinkerbell was no where to be found.
Their home was coated in over 2 feet of mud, so they had feared the worst for the little dog.
The very next day, the couples grandson saw an unbelievable sight.
Ever hear that song, "How much is that doggie in the window?"
That is exactly what the grandson saw. Little Tinkerbell, sitting in the window of the mud caked house, just waiting for her family to come rescue her.
The Ventura County Fire Department rushed in to save the dog, they had to break the window of the home to get Tinkerbell to safety.
She was alive, and she would be just fine, albeit, a little shaken up.
The couple says the tears didn't stop, they had thought she was gone, but they were not ready to give up.
Take a moment to watch this short video of Tinkerbell's rescue.
Dearest Tinkerbell, we are SO happy that you are reunited with your family!
