Pocket Puppy

Ready for your Monday smile?
Today for OMD Mondays we are featuring a PitBull puppy named Pocket.

Let me break it down for you.

Police arrested an alleged drug dealer in Waltham, Mass.
When the police began to do their search on the man, they expected to find some sort of weapon or something to that effect in his pockets.
Instead, they found something they did not anticipate!

This is Pocket the puppy.
This adorable little 3 week old female PitBull puppy was found it the suspects pocket.

I don't think I have to tell you that at 3 weeks old, this puppy should have been with her mother.
Luckily the police acted fast, and got the little pup to a rescue group.

However, she then began to vomit and had diarrhea. This can be fatal at such a young age.
According to Bluepearl Veterinary partners, she  was brought into the specialized care facility.

After getting the care she so desperately needed, the pup was recovering beautifully, and moved into the Pittielove rescue, where they dubbed her "Pocket."
A very fitting name for the young pup.

I am happy to announce that thanks to the quick thinking of the officers as well as the rescue organizations that are helping Pocket, doctors say she will make a full recovery, and will be up for adoption once she is old enough.

I have not found anything stating why or how the pup came to be in the mans pocket, or what charges he may be facing.

That's all for today, thanks for coming by, and I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Stay tuned to the blog for an upcoming review on a
PAW-tastic product, and your chance to win it!

  7. I couldn't find out how Pocket ended up in the drug dealer's pocket either. I don't think he bought it from a legitimate breeder though! BOL! ☺
