Christmas with the huskies

Happy Boxing Day everyone!!
I hope you all are having wonderful holidays, and a very Merry Christmas. We had a paw-some day yesterday. The whole family came over for dinner and spent the day together while Christmas music played in the background. It was great!

As any other paw-rent in the world I took a MILLION photos yesterday, BUT I won't completely overload you, although I would like to share a few.

I made a collage of my girls opening some of their gifts.
You know, when I was a kid, I remember thinking getting presents was just the best thing in the world, but now just watching the joy on my kids faces is so beautiful!

Of course Koda was right in there while my girls were opening gifts.

This was our first Christmas with Koda, and he was just as excited as the human kids!
My other two huskies know their turn is coming, and they wait patiently, but Koda just wanted to help the kids unwrap everything!

My little girl striking a pose in her Christmas dress.

And here is the huskies posing with a few of their gifts they got from Santa Paws.
They were a little excited with everything going on, so it was hard to get a good shot, but hey, it's Christmas!

My mom brought presents for everyone, including my pups!
The photo above shows Koda checking it out. This is a rug for the front door, but not just any rug, it is GREAT for soaking up water and mud from their paws! Unfortunately it has been wet and mucky out today, so we already got to test it out, and it works wonderfully!

Last but certainly not least, Lexus is chillaxin' on the new rug, curled up with one of her new toys after a long day.

Take a moment to check out the huskies enjoying their delish bones they got for Christmas!

  2. Looks like a good haul for all! We have that mat, love it! It has been a mucky soup here in the Gatineau Hills too and has now frozen. I would really like a little snow to make walking easier!
