Ready for your "OMD!" Monday smile?
I actually found this video on the weather network website.
No, it is not a rescue story, but regardless it made me say OMD! (Oh my dog!)
It is simply stunning, and beautiful, and so very peaceful to watch :

For those of you who decide not to watch, it is just a short video showing the crystal clear lake in Sweden. It is frozen but completely clear, to the point you can actually see the fish swimming beneath your feet. These people went out skating on the ice with their dogs, and it is breath taking!

I also want to say a HUGE heartfelt thank you to my friend Linda, from the blog
Savannah's Paw Tracks. I have said before how many friendships I have made since blogging, and I received the most beautiful gift from a very special friend.

A gorgeous gold Siberian Husky sled team pin.
I am not going to go into personal details behind the pin, but it meant a lot to Linda, and the fact that she has passed it on to me just means the world to me!
Thank you Linda! I will treasure it <3

See you tomorrow :)

  3. Love your pin and the video. I think Mom would be nervous about getting wet feet if she was skating on that clear ice though.

  5. Wow! Wonder what makes the ice so clear. When stuff freezes here, you can't see through it. Can't see through it at all. Too bad 'cause clear ice like that is really neat.
