The pockets of a dog parent

What's in YOUR pockets?

The other day, I planned on washing my coat,
and of course the first thing you do when you
wash your coat, is to empty the pockets.
The things I found in there, made me laugh,
and I had to share with you all!

As you can see, my pockets have "Gone to the Dogs."
This is the contents of my coat :

1) Poop bags
2) More poop bags
3) Dog training treats
4) LED lights for their collars at night
5) Lip Balm (For those super cold days)
6) Rock collection (This one actually belongs to my youngest daughter)

SO, how about you?
What do your pockets look like?

  2. Too funny! I often do have pockets full of stuff, but it isn't usually cat stuff. Normally it is receipts and papers. However, it never stops amazing me how much cat stuff I find in my purse when I clean it out. Why on earth do I put cat stuff in my purse? LOL

  4. There are always treats in my pocket with the occasional poop bag. More often than not there are also pens and small scraps of papers to take notes on. I am not really sure where that habit came from.

  7. Hi Y'all!

Looks like my Human's pockets...and on warm days and summertime she has that stuff stuffed in a fanny pack or in her jeans pockets.

    Merry Christmas!

  8. Hey, our comment disappeared right in the middle of typing it. Strange. Jan has to turn off the computer to leave. She doesn't trust us alone with it. As if! So we'll just say hello.

  9. Ha ha, that all looks very familiar! Add to mine a tissue or two...I always have a runny nose when out walking in the winter. I occasionally have rocks too, but in my case they're rocks that I took away from Luke!

  11. Peep #1's coat and jacket pockets almost always contain tissues and a pair of mittens. Hmmm.. She should start carryin' treats, I think. Yup, she should start carryin' treats, for sure.

  15. Our list might expand to include the LED lights soon! Being flexible to walk safely at night would add a lot to our routines! At this point Papa will carry: smartphone (for camera, etc.); training treats (although he skimped today :/ ); pen for notes on our walk before and after we head out; gloves; eye drops. The poop bags live in a nice little compartment attached to my leash, so that frees up some pocket space! *wags* - Gilligan from wagsahoy.com

  17. This definitely looks like my pockets, purse, and dog bag! BOL!! I had to laugh at the rocks. My son used to bring me rocks ALL of the time. He caught me trying to throw some away one day and got so upset that I never threw another one away. I am now the proud owner of a basket full of 23 year old rocks and wonderful memories. ♥
