My lovely daughter and my beautiful mom, standing at our vendor spot.
The day would not have happened without them, love you both!!
This is a close up of our table set up. We also had some new pet signs that hang on your wall over to the side, which you will soon see added to our shop!
I decided to bring my girl Lexus with us. She was SO well behaved and really made me proud the whole entire weekend! Plus she looked darn cute in her blinged out cooling jacket, which i'll share more about later this week. The best part was, she was a conversation starter. Everyone that walked by couldn't resist stopping to pet her.
Who could resist this face anyway?
She was ALL smiles, ALL day! That's my girl :)
At one point in the day, we had a mini husky huddle. Myself, Lexus, and a few other owners with their huskies all sat down on the grass and had a good chat for about a half hour. Including this ADORABLE little puppy you see me holding. Yes I wanted to adopt this pup, no my husband would not allow it! GRRRRR!
Some more of our mini husky huddle.
There was some pretty cool doggie sports going on. I took this photo early in the morning when they were setting up for the air dogs event.
There was a vendor booth where you could go and take a 20 minute dog CPR course as well. I learned a thing or two!
Towards the end of the day a couple friends of ours stopped by and sat with us for a while. Lexus loved the attention from my daughter as well as our friends. A special thank you to Lucy and Pat for stopping by, and giving us an entertaining, comfortable night at their house!
Lexus had plenty of cold water available for her to drink, but I think her favorite part was the ice cream cone!
At the end of the day, Lexus snuggled up on my lap in the shade before it was time to pack up and head out.
All in all, it was a great experience for us, and for our business. It was upsetting that we didn't get to day two because of the storms, but not much you can do about weather! Thanks so much for sharing in our first event experiences today and I hope to see you back tomorrow!
