Hey guys, some of you may be wondering why I haven't been blogging for a few days.
If you follow my personal Facebook page, you may have heard our family recently lost a very close friend of ours. It hasn't been an easy couple days, which is why I sort of stayed away from the online word for a while. I realize though, that while the top of my list is always my family... blogging, and spending time with my online friend community is also a very important part of my life. So, I am back to blogging now, and will do my best to catch up on everyone's blogs since I was away. Thanks for understanding.
Much love to you all!
Yesterday, we decided to spend some time outside in the yard, and just be with our family. SO we filled up the kiddie pool, and watched the kids play, and had fun on a beautiful sunny day. I took some time adding different filters to these photos, so I hope they look ok.
My little girl decided to splash some water on Koda. He was just loving it, and kept coming back for more. You can see the smile on his face.
Koda is enjoying being drenched in water to cool down in the sun. And my daughter was giggling the whole time.
Mika didn't seem interested in the pool at first. She was happy chillaxin' in the shade, playing with my oldest daughter.
Yep, she dove in. My little girl had to slide over to make room for Mika in the pool.
Koda and I sat down on the grass, and watched Mika and my little one play in the pool together for about a half an hour. They had so much fun!
I absolutely loved watching them play in the pool together. I worked hard to teach my girls how important it is to know dog behavior, and how they should be treated. They just get along so great. It warms my heart every time I see my daughters spending time with the huskies like this.
Not to worry. While Lexus was outside with us as well, she has no interest in the kiddie pool. She prefers exploring the yard, taking in all the smells. The smile on her furry face says it all.
It was nice to just get out of the house for a while, and focus on the positive things in life. My family. It was a good day, everyone enjoyed themselves, and that is what counts. Thanks for coming by you guys. Hope to see you back tomorrow.
