Huskies Love Baseball - #GoBlueJaysGO!

The Toronto Blue Jays baseball team is all the rage right now here in Canada, and worldwide!
With good reason too! Guys, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this team is, and how much heart they have shown this year. Even if you're not a baseball fan, it is simply undeniable how remarkable this season has been. The Blue Jays have been fighting hard all year, but were still falling behind - that is, until the very end of July. The Jays made a huge move in acquiring pitcher, David Price (not to mention a few other greats that were added to the team.) And since then, oh boy have they ever climbed their way to their top! Yesterday, we played the A's and claimed our 10'th win in a row.

Today, we would like to give a HUGE shout out to the Toronto Blue Jays, as well as wish them the best of luck for the duration of the season. Now, its onto to WINNING the world series!!!

Lets go Blue Jays, LETS GO!

  1. I have to growl at reading this post as you sent my Twins home with their tails between their legs. They were the hottest team in baseball, now I bet they are the coldest. Enjoy the Blue Jays ride while it lasts. With baseball, one never knows!

  6. It's so exciting when the team you root for does well. We have the Red Sox (you may have heard of them) :-) they either kick butt or suck tail, there is no in between with these guys.

Still when they are winning, we are super excited. I hope your team does well.

  8. This makes me remember watching Joe Carter hit a home run to win the World Series for the Blue Jays in 1993. I was 12 years old, but still got the significance of it, and it gives me goosebumps to this day to think about it.

  10. Personally, I'm not a big sports fan but my husband is insane about his sports, especially baseball! We've even taken our dogs to dog friendly baseball games! (OK, so it was my idea to do that!) When I was just starting out, I used to travel to Toronto for business. The ladies I worked with at the office there went out and bought me a beautiful Blue Jays baseball hat! I still have the hat, nearly 30 years later!! (Ugh, how badly did I just date myself!?) I wear it sometimes too, it's beautiful! Congratulations to your Blue Jays, this native New Yorker can't help but have a little soft spot in my heart for the Jays because of that hat and the great people I worked with in Toronto!
