National Dog Day was founded in 2004, by animal advocate, Colleen Paige. It's purpose is to recognize how many dogs in the world need rescuing. To recognize the working dogs, out there every day saving lives. To recognize service dogs. To recognize dogs... period. A dogs ability to love unconditionally, and be so loyal to the human race is simply amazing, and even though I think we should recognize these things every day, I am happy to see there is a 'National Dog Day' so we can all take a step back, and look at the wonder, that is our beloved dogs.
The Sibe Tribe would love to know:
How will you be celebrating and/or recognizing National Dog Day?
This weeks featured item from my shop is our "customize your own" wood craft block signs.
We have a few pre-made block signs already in our shop, but did you know you can also order a custom one, to say whatever you like on it? Whatever you love, whatever words you desire, we will make it happen! A portion of our sales go to local animal shelters in need, so you can't go wrong. Order you own custom sign here.
