A Brand New Ending...

I think we can all agree that some choices we make in our younger days can be less than right. Some choices are definitely worse than others, but I think we all make mistakes, and that is what makes us human beings. I have shared on the blog before that my past life was... a mess, for lack of better words. What keeps me going now? My family, my furry family, my blog, my life. When I share my weekly graphic creations with you guys, some of you may not know, I am sort of sharing my personal thoughts in my creations. I choose the quotes that I use very carefully, and in one way or another, they always reflect something in my life, always things I know others can relate to as well.

Anyways, I have two graphic creations for you today, which reflect on me greatly, and tie in well with bringing in the new year. Hope you enjoy!

Approach The New Year With Resolve - quote

although no one can go back and make a brand new start... quote

My favorite quote out of these two, and the one that hits home most, is definitely the second one. Sure, we can't change the past, and to be honest, i'm not sure how much I would change anyways... but one thing we can do, is make a brand new ending to our life stories.

Today's post is part of the BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday blog hop.

  1. Those are beautiful quotes and I like the second one best, too. I always love your graphics!

I can totally relate to having a hard past. <3 ~Hugs~ Sometimes the only reason I get out of bed is because my dogs need me.

  2. They are great quotes. We can't change what we've done, only learn from it.

All the best for this year!

  5. Great quotes, but we like the second one the best. My mom had some tough times I've heard, but it was way before I was born. She came out of it and made a fresh start, then we also had to make a fresh start when we moved back to the US from Germany. Lots of tough times but everything that happens in life shapes your being and makes you who you are today. As long as you know you can make a fresh start, you will be fine.

  6. I love the idea of a brand new ending. Lots of things in my past I wish I could change. One of my goals for this year is to let go all of that and just move forward.

    1. That is a huge one, and I sure hope you can achieve it! There are still things in my past which I cannot seem to let go of too, so I definitely understand where your coming from.

  7. Those are wonderful quotes. Dwelling on the past can be all consuming. I like the idea of starting fresh.

  8. Learning from the past is helpful, dwelling on the past is more often hurtful, especially when it keeps us from fully participating in the present.

    How's that for a penny's worth of philosophy? ;-)

  9. Beautiful quotes and both are absolutely true!

  10. My past life was a mess too. I've always believed that living through those messes only make us stronger!

  11. I love both of those quotes. I hated my past (20 years + below) but it brought me to where I am so I wouldn't change it either. I'd definitely would not wish to relive it though! LOL! It is the reason for my serenity tattoo. It is my personal mantra that I can always look at my wrist and read. You are going to have a fabulous 2016! ♥

    1. Oh I definitely understand! See, if I was to change my past, I may not have my daughters or husband, or anything that I have today. I love your wrist tattoo BTW!

  14. I especially love the second quote too. I think most of us spend way too much time looking backwards and not enough time living in the moment or creating our future. Congrats on the news about your new store too, what an exciting way to start off the new year!

  17. Those are both beautiful, Jenna, you have obviously come a long, long way. I made A LOT of mistakes when I was younger, but I always figure everything I did then led me to where I am today....and that is a good thing.
