Shovel, Or Make Snow Angels?

That's the real question. At least that's what the question became since yesterdays intense snow storm here in Canada, Ontario. I'm not sure if you remember... but just a few weeks ago I had been saying what an odd winter we have had here. We got the least amount of snow this winter than I can remember, even back to my childhood. Anyways, winter finally found us here in Smiths Falls, and oh boy.... did it find us!

Cars buried by snow in Smiths Falls

This was only part way through the day yesterday. It kept snowing and snowing and snowing... if you look closely at the photo above, you will see the car literally buried... look even closer, you can see more buried cars in the background. That was the scene I was looking at through my window on February 16'th. But hey... I now have 3 extremely happy huskies!

Since this is Wordless Wednesday, and my one day a week where I like to share my latest graphic creations, I thought this image of Koda, combined with this quote was perfect for our "better late than never" winter season.

Shovel, Or Make Snow Angels? Quote

"When it snows, you have two choices:
Shovel or make snow angels."

I choose snow angels, how about you?

  1. Wow! Its beautiful! I've been to the snow, but I can't imagine what it would like to live in it every winter. It was in the 70's today where I am in California. Felt like summer! ~RascalandRocco

  5. I vote snow angels for two reasons. First, they are fun to make and second, I have never seen a snow shovel in person! LOL! LOL!

  11. That is a lot of snow! We have been pretty lucky here in Michigan this winter as far as snow goes. We haven't had any major storms (very weird indeed). It is a great thing that you have huskies! They know how to make the best snow angels. :)

  16. The crew is so jealous! The biggest storm we've gotten has been about 6 inches. Right now we have none. Every time we get some it gets warm right afterwards and melts it all. It really has been a crazy winter.
