The Cat Who Thinks She's A Husky - Post Surgery

Some of you might remember the story of my rescue kitten named Robbi. She was a young, tiny kitten left outside with no home, and no one to love her, and care for her. After trying to locate where she may have came from, we ended up deciding to keep her. If you are interested in learning more about Robbi, and how we introduced her into a home with 2 other cats, as well as 3 Siberian Huskies, click here for her full story, here for week one, here for week two, here for week three, and here for week four.

Robbi is a very unique girl, and if you read her full story, you will begin to see why. But aside from that, she is unlike any kitty I have ever had. Bringing her into a home run by huskies, it didn't take long for her to begin mimicking them. She acts more husky than cat - and I swear to you guys... she thinks she is a husky! That is in no way an exaggeration. You can read back to when she first discovered her husky-ness here in this post.

So, why is Robbi on the blog today and not the huskies? Well the time had come... Robbi needed to get spayed. She was done just this past Wednesday.

My little girly was so happy to be home after her operation. She stayed in the bedroom all night so she could relax without the other pets hounding her... or huskying her. ;)
But that didn't stop Koda... Robbi and Koda are great pals, and hang out all the time. Koda was SO worried about her, and any time I went in the bedroom to check on her, this is the view I got from under the door.

Silly boy. He really needed to see her, so I did let him in just so that he knew she was ok.

I think it's amazing how animals show they care, and have feelings and worry as we humans do.

Has your pet shown worry before?
If so, please share in the comments!

  3. That is beyond precious!! Dakota is like that with Cody....Cody is a little "cooler" towards him though lol. But...if Dakota is at the Vet or being groomed, I have noticed that Cody will come out here looking around for him. It is so nice when they are close, isn't it? DakotasDen

  6. We are all happiest when we are all home together. We don't have to be near each other, just all in the house. If one goes off and returns, they get a big sniff over and if one goes off and doesn't come back with Mom, we all worry until they return.
