Keeping Cool With Frozen Dog Treats!

Heyyyy! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer?

We are co hosting 2 blog hops, and thought it would be fun to relive one of my old home created summer time treats for dogs. Feel free to try out this recipe, and tweak it however you like to better suit your dogs taste!

Side note - since this is a flashback to a very old post, the photos are a bit under quality, forgive me ;)

  • No fat, plain yogurt
  • Peanut butter
What you'll need:

  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Ice cube tray
Add one or two scoops of to about 5 tablespoons of yogurt.
Honestly, there is not really an exact measurement to go by, so just tweak it until you reach your own desired consistency.

Mix it all up!

Now it's time to add your mixture into the ice cube trays -

Put your trays into the freezer for at least 3 hours.

Pop them out on a nice hot summer day, and your dogs will thank you!

  8. Can I make something like this for cats, too?)) My cat doesn't like sweet to much, but he is suffering during the heat too, so I think he will like an iced treat. And if it will be also healthy, I will be as glad, as my cat. Because forcing him to eat something like vegetables is as hard as force my son to write a paper by his own and not using any of the term paper writing service . He is such a lazy person!
