I’ve never heard of such a thing. Surgery is NOT a first option. Draining is the first option. Chizzy had this problem and was drained several times before surgery was even suggested. It amazed me, that the vet asked me to call him a couple times after Winter came home with us, because he wanted to make sure he was doing ok, and just wanted updates on him. I was so thankful! One of our cats had urinary issues but thank goodness it never went as far as a blockage. He peed in the bathtub and we saw blood in it so got him to the vet quickly. The photo of Winter with Koda (?) is darling. love it. ANd Savannah had a severe bladder infection which we did not discover when she first came to be with us. When I finally saw her going in and out of the litter box with nothing coming out off to the vet. She had crystals the size of cut glass!!
