Happy Healthy Siberian Husky - #SomaPet

Hiya everyone!
I hope your week is going great!

We have a PAWsome post for you today, featuring my Siberian Husky, Mika.
Let me introduce you to :
 SomaLife - SomaPet Dietary Supplement.

SomaPet is 100% natural, with a wonderful, unique mix of 8 amino acids, which is designed to improve the health and energy of our beloved pets.

Why have we decided to try SomaPet?

As most of you know, I am owned by 3 Siberian huskies.
If you follow my blog, you will know that huskies are a very high energy breed.
They keep their figure slim and trim, and live very active life styles.
For more info on Siberian husky traits and personality, see my "Are huskies for you?" page.

Mika has broke the mold in more ways then one, when it comes to the breed specifics of a husky.
She is completely the opposite of anything "husky."
Mika is laid back, very relaxed, not entirely playful, and tends to put on extra weight, mostly through the winter months.

When the opportunity arose to test out the SomaPet all natural supplement, we jumped on it!

What is SomaPet designed to do?
  • Provide healthier skin and coat
  • body fat reduction
  • renewed vigor and vitality
  • Increased bone strength
I was also thrilled to learn that SomaPet's formula is based on the most recent scientific findings in nutritional research.
The below infographic shows where your pets weight should be.
Mika is just over where she should be for optimal health.

We have been using Soma for just about 2 weeks, and have quite a bit left.
As we go through the bottle, I will be sharing updates with you on her progress.

I must say though, in the short time we have been using it, we have already noticed differences in her.

Mika likes to keep to herself a lot, and prefers to be somewhat of a loner.

Since using SomaPet, she has started to jump up on the couch with the other huskies to lay beside us.
This is huge for her, as she prefers to stay on her carpet in front of the kitchen door.

I have also noticed a difference in her happiness level.
She seems to have a smile on her face much more often then usual.
She has been playing with the other huskies while we are outside, where she would usually choose to just "chillax" in the shade. Unless of course, there is snow on the ground. ;)
Our other 2 huskies are both under the age of 2 years, so, it's not often that Mika will be up and about with them, however, I know my huskies inside and out, and I AM seeing great changes in her already!
I credit her new behavior to SomaPet!

Here's how it works :
For Pets over 50lbs, they receive two scoops, and for pets under 50lbs ; one scoop.
Add it to your pets food once a day, and that's it!

SomaPet is great for dogs, cats and even horses!

One huge concern I had, was adding it to Mika's food.
She is a very picky dog, and WILL notice when her food is off, even a little!
I decided to add the Soma to some no fat, plain yogurt, which I give to the huskies often anyways.

I then did a tried a true husky taste test, for our first try, at feeding the supplement to Mika.
Check out our short taste test video below :

Husky tried, tested, and approved!

I look forward to sharing Mika's progress with you as we make our way through the entire container of SomaPet. I hope you'll join me in her updates!

  3. Like every breed, no one is exactly the same. Mom had a husky growing up that was a nightmare, always running away and real wild, but Katie's best friend in Germany was a husky that was so mellow and well behaved it was amazing. As long as you don't get in too much trouble, different personalities are fun. If this helps, that is great.

    1. Your exactly right, and I know Mika is in good health, which is why we were not entirely worried about it. But we jumped at the chance to bring her inner puppy out with Soma though. Thanks so much for your thoughts!!
