My Distraught Huskies

Welcome to a special Easter edition of Siberian Saturday!
There has been so much talk lately at my house of the Easter Bunny, that it peaked my huskies interest. Any dog out there knows, that at the first mention of a bunny, ears are perking and paying close attention!

Lexus and Koda quickly began searching for this so called "Easter Bunny!"

He discovered a hole, and realized bunny's usually like to hide in holes, so the inspection began.

Once the bunny noticed the huskies were searching for him, he decided to play a little game with them.

Koda heard something that sounded like a tiny giggle come from a hole in the distance.

Lexus thought she found him after digging up a snowbank, and called the other huskies over for inspection.

Then, Koda found something! Not the bunny, no, but what he did find, had drawn the most confusion he had ever felt. Colorful strange egg shaped items, that he was sure the bunny had pooped out.

He was stunned! He was shocked! He was.......mad! "Who does this bunny think he is?" he thought out loud. Running around MY yard leaving his colorful droppings behind!

Unfortunately the bunny was gone, and the huskies were left feeling helpless and distraught as they sniffed the colorful egg shapes they found in holes throughout the yard.

The huskies didn't get the bunny, but I do hope you enjoyed our Easter fun Siberian Saturday post!
Happy Easter!

Today's letter in the #atozchallenge is D.
D is for my distraught non bunny catching huskies!

  2. HAHAHAHA! That's a great story..............The Easter bunny DOES leave goodies behind that's for sure.....but they are usually in a basket and they are delicious and not - well - stinky!

    Happy Easter

  5. Great story! That Easter bunny does have a lot of nerve, and he's probably lucky he got away before the huskies found him! Happy Easter!

  12. There are a lot of bunnies in our neighbourhood and Miracle Loki (http://www.facebook.com/MiracleLoki) NEEDS to chase them! Luckily for the bunnies, Loki doesn't usually see them while they're sitting perfectly still, even when they're right next to her! Visiting from the A to Z Challenge list!
