Winter Is The Time For Comfort...

Wednesday is upon us, and you know what that means? Time for our weekly graphic creation! Even though our weather has been almost Spring-like this week, 'winter is coming', that is a fact, so how about a nice snowy, winter graphic today?

Winter Is The Time For Comfort... quote

"Winter is the time for comfort,
for good food and warmth,
for the touch of a friendly hand
and a talk beside the fire:
it is the time for home."

- Edith Sitwel

  1. Everyone complains about winter, the cold, the darkness, but we love it and find it to be such a nice cozy time of year, and more relaxing too.

  2. We've decided that comfort isn't seasonal ;-) Winter is favored by two out of four canines in our home; the other two prefer to cozy up under blankets until the many feet of snow retreat - in the summer.

  4. Nice! What's better than curling up next to a fire with a cup of hot chocolate while your pups snooze beside you?

  10. Beautiful graphic! Winter isn't my favorite season, but I've grown to enjoy it more because of the dogs. But we have to have snow! Winter is no fun without snow. It's actually warm here this week, and I'm surprised that I'm not really happy about that. I was enjoying the cooler weather.

  11. Although we've been enjoying this gorgeous weather, we can't wait for snow! Well, actually me & my Husky can't wait for snow. My little Havanese/Maltese mix - not so much. Gorgeous graphic, I love this one!

  13. Beautiful graphic! It is that time of year again. We've been blessed with a couple of unseasonably warm days here in Michigan, but soon everything will look like winter. I'm sure that the heavenly storehouses of snow are ready to open up on us.

  14. Simply beautiful. I doubt if I will see that kind of winter this year. It's November and we're still in the 80's. Not complaining though :)

  17. Love that one! It's been in the mid 80s here, with 85-98% humidity. Not fall weather, even for Florida!

  19. Nice graphic. We had such a nice day today that I spent a good long time outside taking pictures for upcoming posts. I remember last year freezing my rear off taking pictures this time of year.
